the real estate agents, can help you with all the papper work needed to complete the transaction, which is very easy if you are an European Citizen
(if you are resident of one of those countries: France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands (Holland) UK (England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales)
but could be a little complicated if you are a resident outside Europe. In return they will ask for commision. Personaly speaking, we witnessed a big reliability and price difference of agents charging, for the same property. so our advice is to always visit as many agents as you can, before you choose the right one.

2) Local Newspappers

The local newspappers usually host a big number of properties for sale directly by their owners. No commission is required in those cases and the prices could be slightly or hugely cheaper than if you are bying from Real estate agents. In this case, you will need a greek speaking/reading person to spot the properties and help you further.

3)Internet real estate property listing sites

The internet real estate websites seen a huge growth the last couple of years, the reason could be the ease of adding pictures, description and price so easily without any agents in the middle. unfortunately we noticed that some property listing prices were far beyong the real and their goal was to attract buyers for other properties but the truth is, they possibly worth a look.
